I only have one tattoo and I have hated it from the moment I got it. I think it looks awful and my mom hates it which makes me hate it even more.

I would like honest opinions and any ideas on how to make it look better.

It looks like it needs to be fixed. Some of the letters are thinner than the others. It doesn't look very crisp. Find a good artist and they can fix it for you. I'd recommend you get it fixed, add some stuff to it, like flowers or something to dress it up, make sure you go to a good artist. Don't be afraid to add something big to it, something colorful. If you add something amazing to it, it's gonna make the whole thing look better. Have the Usher signature covered up, cause it's not necessary and it looks silly, and stop worrying about what your mommy thinks. There's an honest opinion for ya. ;)

I do want to go talk to some artists. I'm just scared now since this one turned out so bad. I really appreciate your opinion. Thank you so much.

Mom's don't count when it comes to tattoos! The sentiment of the quote is good and perfect for a tattoo. You've taken the first step, see it as a positive and as jjmac12345 advises now get it reworked by a top artist they'll provide the ideas on how it can be done. Go for it, correct it, love it and you'll feel a lot more positive.

Like someone said nobody's Mom likes there ink, but who cares about that.....if you don't like the tattoo there are three simple ways to take care of this.....remove it.....cover it or have it reworked.......when you meet an artist you look at there portfolio to see what kind of work the can do or have done in the past so you will have some kind of an idea of what you might end up with ......if they don't have a portfolio you might should find an artist who does...myself just looking at what you have done it almost seems like the lines run together, personally I would consider a cover up of a great floral piece with some butterflies....or whatever you like....hate to give opinions on others ink but that is my 2 cents.....after looking again this script could be cleaned up and re-done and be nice like jmac said add some nice background will be nice.....

my guess would be that you got exactly what you asked for, not thats thats a bad thing, but a "wall of text" on the shoulder blade usually is less appealing in reality when your artist wasnt very creative, nor very good at executing lettering. Cover it up with something you will love by a GOOD artist well versed in cover up technique, if you still want the quote, maybe condense it so its not 17 words long....
